Monday opens with a genuinely undecided tape. SPY and NVDA are sitting almost exactly on their pivots — not fractionally below, not fractionally above, just at the line — and QQQ is the only one of the three names still carrying a real cushion. That's a tighter setup than we've seen in a few sessions, and it means today's opening rotation matters more than usual.

Session Bias: Risk–Off leaning, Need Confirmation. House lean is bear–primary at 45% bear / 30% bull / 25% chop–split.

What's driving it: Oil is the headline story — a second vessel has now been struck in the Strait of Hormuz, on top of Saudi Arabia's East–West pipeline shutdown, pushing WTI to $103.20. The 10–year is back near 5%, the dollar is firmer, and Nasdaq futures are down 1.5% overnight. On top of that, the AI–safety slowdown story broadened: Sam Altman and Elon Musk both publicly backed Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei's call to slow frontier model development — a rare cross–lab alignment weighing on NVDA and the broader AI trade, with Asian tech names (Nikkei, KOSPI) both down sharply overnight. The one counterweight: VIX is up to 17.77 from Friday's 15.84 close, so even the "calm internals" signal from Friday is fading.

This is the headline read. Paid subscribers also get the full trade framework for all three names (entry triggers, invalidation levels, and long/short R:R boxes at 2:1 or better), the institutional positioning and options–flow synthesis, and the full Thesis Tree with the exact conditions that would change our mind.
