What's driving it: the Fed is out in force today — Williams at 10:05 AM, Jefferson (the most senior voice) at 10:20 AM, and Barkin at 1:00 PM, right alongside the session's real event risk: the 2–year Treasury auction, also at 1:00 PM. Weak demand there could push yields higher and lean on the setup; strong demand keeps the door open. Underneath Monday's headline gain, there's also a real crack worth knowing about — more S&P 500 stocks posted new 52–week lows than highs, the first time that's happened since December 1999.
