France’s September inflation came in at 3.4% year over year against a 3.1% Reuters poll. China’s official manufacturing PMI rose to 50.1, ending two months of contraction. U.S. stocks lost ground Monday and Tuesday as Treasury yields climbed, and the 30-year yield hit its highest level since 2002 before pressure eased overnight.
